*shudder* iLok. Apple have just removed iLok from Logic Pro and gone to a
serial number system presumably because they reason since you need a
reasonablly need a MacPro to run it and the full install kit is 30GB any
pirate is going to have already spent quite a lot of money on the hardware.
 
However having QLab automatically look for licenses say at the root of on
any attached removebable storage sounds like it would achieve the same
effect for some classes of user.

It not going to do the trick for someone who already has iLok based software
and is expecting to consolidate their licenses on one iLok.

However it sound rather perverse to want a bit of software like QLab to
introduce a hardware dongle licensing scheme to be able to do the
consolidation rather than just copying and deleteing of license files as
needed.
