Yikes indeed.

Some things:

- However you managed to get a copy of the final build, I certainly
don't have one.

See:

http://stevenf.com/2007/10/indies_roll_the_dice_on_final_leopard.php

- On the build I *do* have, I am not getting the same problem. On my
build, audio plays back without stuttering or skipping on both my
headphone jack and my Edirol FA-66.

- This is not to say that everything is completely kosher on
Leopard. For example, Apple has changed the way a particular piece
of code works, so that currently that piece of code is spewing out a
ton of console messages while QLab runs. It's possible that writing
these console messages to the disk is causing your stutters, but I
don't really know. It could also still be related to your audio
device, because:

- My MOTU UltraLite is not even recognized by the system at all.

End result: QLab is not yet officially supported on Leopard. Of
course it is a high priority to get the last little things worked
out, which I hope to get done shortly.

General advice: Upgrading to an unreleased version of an operating
system a few days before you have a critical need for various pieces
of software and hardware to be in full working order on that system
is not a good idea.

As for whether or not I can save the day on this one, all I can say
is that I will be purchasing a copy of the final build when everyone
else does, since that's the only option Apple has given me. I'll
probably be spending the weekend trying to get the last of the issues
that I can find ironed out, and with any luck I'll shortly be rolling
out the updated version along with the new MIDI String cue, etc.
Whether "shortly" here means "by Monday"...yikes. I think the line
from the movie goes something like "Help *me* help *you*." :)

Best,
Christopher
