[QLab] Quicksilver PCI?

I am a user of QLab and have been using it for about a year. I work  
in a LORT theatre and a University theatre department.

I am starting to use it on the University side. The machine is a  
Quicksilver 867 with 1 Gig of RAM, OS 10.4.X, using a MOTU PCI 324  
connected to a 2408. Any one have experience using this general  
combination? I have had some freezing/crashing issues but I think  
they were from a bad USB connection. However, I have not seen many  
people using a PCI connection with QLab and thought I'd throw it out  
there.
