Yes, I believe that may be correct--if I remember right, QC allows
you to specify the camera you want to use.

Not for now, at least from Figure 53. We've put a lot of
consideration into whether it would make sense to bring QLab to the
PC--we've even talked to a third party that has Windows development
experience about the possibility of partnering with them to make it
happen--but at the end of the day QLab on a PC would either be (A)
hugely costly and time consuming to develop, (B) not look much like
QLab any more, or most likely (C) both. So instead of getting bogged
down in all that, and seeing our releases slow to a crawl, we're
going to stay focused on OS X only, and take advantage of the
development environment there to keep things clipping along and take
advantage of all the mac-only technologies available on OS X.

Pretty much no chance of that at all, as far as I can tell.

This is a good question. I don't have any advice on it at the
moment, but I've been talking with at least one customer who is doing
some tests of third party graphics cards with QLab. In general I'm
very interested in exploring what graphics cards can be recommended
beyond the default Apple bundled cards, because those cards aren't
really the best available technology--and certainly aren't the best
available price.
So, nothing official to report now, but I welcome any feedback on
this and will relate more information as it becomes reliable.
Thanks,
Chris
