[QLab] Video Fade Stutter

It seems like I have an issue with Video Fades. Every time I try to fade in a new video file when another video file is playing the video stutters until the fade is complete, then the old file stops and the new file plays fine. I tried lowering the resolution of the monitor I am displaying on. I also tried putting a post wait of 0.5 sec between when the new video starts, and the fade up of that video. These both seemed to help in some cases. So why are my fades stuttering? is the video too big? (1280x720 Photo - Jpg codec quicktime files) is my processor too slow? (2.16ghz MBP) Ram? (2 gb) I do not have this issue fading from a picture to video.
