Yes, you should. :) Lots of bug fixes since then. Make sure all
your cues are up-to-date too.

First thing to do is check in the Sound Cue preferences, and make
sure you have one of your patches assigned to the MOTU. Then you
should be able to select it from your cues.
The number of available output channels are determined by the output
device, and are independent of the number of channels in the file.
If there are other particulars required on the 828 side of things, I
may need to defer to the other experts on the list for those, but on
the QLab side of things that should be all you need.
