[QLab] composite video adapter

In the wet blanket department...

Had sorta the same issue on my MacBook Pro, but with a set of CAT5  
balun transformers.  I suspected the problem arose because the Mac  
could not detect the display, but was never able to confirm.  My SWAG  
was that the display detection lines were not included in the  
interface, so the Mac didn't see anything and didn't try to  
interface.  I was using the DVI to VGA adapter that is included from  
Apple, also tried another one of those to no avail.
