Chris,
Thanks for the email, and sorry for the panicky communication....
Resolution of projector = 800x600
Resolution of picture =initially larger, but re-formated everything
down to 800x600
Simultaneous media playback = Never at the same time, always cross-
fading between the two. (Man Picture fades out into Woman Picture
fading up)
Previous Cues Stopping = All files have stopped after the designated
holds or fade outs. But I do have a question about that....
To fade into and out of clips, I would play the video at 0%visibility
to "load the cue", and then have a video fade cue to fade it up to
100% visibility. Another cue would then automatically follow to load
the next video at 0% visibility, and then another video fade cue to
fade out the first video, and fade up the next video. Seemed arduous
at the time, but didn't see any other way to set up cross-fades.....
Shows up and running and the director is off my case now, but would
still love to hear any suggestions that might improve the video fading.
Thanks
Best,
Andrew

THINK BEFORE YOU PRINT
- What is the resolution of the final output display device (e.g.
projector)
- What is the resolution of the source media
- How many media files are playing simultaneously
- Have previous cues been stopped when they are no longer needed
And an added one:
- Is the video cue up to date
Cheers,
Chris
