[QLab] Video Cross Fades Up/Down

Just programmed a show with music/video clips/live feed.  Everything  
worked really well, and enjoyed the geometry options for scale and  
rotation.  One issue that came up a lot was the cross fades of video  
clips.  Transitions were not smooth dissolves, but staggered up/down  
fades.  Looks like the clip is skipping some frames here and there.   
Problem is less noticeable when fade times are lengthened.  Any  
suggestions?  I'm running the show off of a MacBook Pro, 10.5 OSX,  
using the suggested computer settings.  Any insight?  Unfortunately,  
my work around is to put video clips in Keynote, and still run audio  
from Qlab.
