Chris, Charlie and all,

I think that we have some good ideas here.
As my experience with other show control / timeline softwares, I
think that the library cue idea is the most versatile one. Chris, you
said:
"This can't be achieved via the working directory. It would have to
be a change in the way QLab represents cues in a workspace. For
example, all cues are created in a library of cues and then the
workspace is built out of that library of cues. (A layer of
indirection.)"
This, for me, is the perfect aproach. I have many situations where I
need to cancel a cue, os just disable it in a speacial rehearsal,
change cue orders, or deal with that adults / children's situation or
multiple languages...The cue library and cue lists will all deal with
that. The cue lists will be simple sequence lists, without really the
cues, just what the starts cues do. But you will have a cue library,
and if you change the cue in the library you will change it for all
the cue lists. That will be wonderfull!

I know that it will simply change all the way QLab works, but please,
think about it...

Cheers!
