[QLab] Fade weirdness with sound group cues

Hi Chris, it's been a while since I posted- I've been too busy using
your software to post on the list! I've been working on a production
of "she stoops to conquer" which is about to embark on a 14 week UK
tour, using qlab as the show control (mostly just MIDI stuff, but some
playback as well). The show has a three piece band on it and, in the
event of the band being unavailable (two of the band are
understudies!), qlab will provide the score as well.
I've been setting up sound group cues for each scene change &
underscore, but I've been encountering problems programming fades on
the group cues. Each group cue contains a maximum of 3 tracks (one for
each instrument), but when I drop the sound group I want to fade out
onto the fade cue and set the out level to INF, when I fire the cue,
it gets louder! Each sound group is placed inside a group cue, as are
the fades I'm trying to program. I've used your new "use target
levels" feature as a workaround (and then dropped the levels
afterward), but this shouldn't happen, should it?
I'm still on OS 10.4.10, using the latest version of qlab and all the
plugins are up-to-date, and I was sure to check the 'relative' fade
tick box in the fade cue.
I have vague recollections of something similar happening on a show I
was working on in the summer, although then I was targeting a separate
cuelist, and a relative fade was the solution.
What am I doing wrong?
Cheers,
Dan
