Hi Matthew- obviously, the lower the latency the better, but for
purposes of an offstage FX mic, or a show relay feed, what can be
acheived through AU Lab would be fine. It would just make the solution
a little more comprehensive if it could be acheived just using Qlab,
without having to capture AU Lab with MIDI CC as well. AU Lab allows
you to specify whatever mic preamp inputs that are available on your
sound cards, and as the mixer plugins for Qlab are AUs, it should be
possible, without additional hardware (as long as you have inputs on
your interface).
