Oh, wow, okay.  I get what you're saying now.  So basically it was  
confusion about which cue was going to play next, and how to select  
the right playback position in the list.

The suggested approach of highlighting the cue before the cue that's  
on deck is insufficient because playback is not restricted to a top- 
to-bottom order.  Since it can jump around the cue list, highlighting  
the previous cue doesn't always mean the intended thing.

So there may be another way to do it, but I'm not sure what it would be.

To be perfectly honest--and at the risk of sounding snarky--I don't  
see how you can design the idea of "I want cue 10 to go next" any  
clearer than "select cue 10, then press go when you want it to  
play"...  ??
