Hi Rich,
The basic approach should simply be:
- Assign the M-Audio device to a patch in the Sound Cue preferences.
- Select a Sound Cue in your workspace.
- Assign the Sound Cue to the patch that is going to the M-Audio device.
At that point you should have as many active columns in the cue's
matrix as there are active channels on the device.
If that isn't giving you what you expect, is it possible that the M-
Audio can be placed into a mode where it only offers two channels?
You mention above that the FastTrack shows up twice in the sound cue
preferences...that strikes me as odd... When that happens, are both
devices two channel devices? If so, it would seem that you ought to
be able to force them into a single four-channel configuration with
an aggregate device, but note that an Enhanced Audio license would be
required to use this aggregate device.
