Well, it's not fixed yet, but I just found a work around:

Export the Quartz Composition to a Quicktime Movie, and it will play  
back correctly in QLab.

That's not to say that I'm not going to try to figure out what bug  
popped up there, but it appears that yes, you can get live video  
input with your current video cues.
