Yes, as I understand it - no problems here (I don't think it's 
freeze-framing, just leaving the video device in a 'zero' state.

However the MPEG-1 file I used was one I created myself that ends with a 
half second fade-to-black.  The video file freezes before the blackout, so I 
know it is not completing playback of the video.
