[QLab] video cross fades - wha?

I was hoping to use RGBHV for this show I have coming up, but we  
can't get our hands on the cables for free / cheap. So I'm hoping for  
S-Video, since that's at least better than component over rca/coaxail  
(yes?)

Any other ideas or advice?
