[QLab] How did you set up your redundant system?

Nothing new to report with redundant QLab systems, but I have setup  
redundant systems using other playback systems.  I switched on  
digital consoles with patch libraries, or just extra channels if  
available.  Both systems were cued via MIDI.

Radial has announced a new 8 channel switch for "live concert touring  
and stage shows that employ backing tracks as part of the sound  
production."  It can also auto-switch if a "drone track" is recorded  
on the first channel - if it loses that signal on the primary, it  
switches to the backup.  Pretty slick.  I'll be looking in to this  
one the next time an opportunity comes along to setup a redundant  
system. The only info I could find was in a newsletter - click on
