Some additional information this morning: a separate Apple engineer  
had some more feedback, and he thinks it may not necessarily be a  
driver that is triggering this.  He has offered to look over the  
system profiles of affected machines, so I'm going to send those  
along and see what comes of it.

As such, don't go through too many back-bends to find what drivers  
are installed on your system at the moment.  That may still be  
helpful, but it may be premature as well.
