Hi Kevin,
Sorry to hear you're having this problem. One step in diagnosing the
problem is to send me the console log, which can be viewed using the
Console.app utility:
/Applications/Utilities/Console.app
This is where QLab will log any problems it is having. So for
example if QLab is unable to pull enough frames from disk in time to
feed the cues, it will record that fact here.
Additional questions:
- How many simultaneous cues are running when you have the drops?
- How many channels are you playing back per cue when you have the
drops?
- What's the approximate duration of the drops?
- Does Activity Monitor indicate that the CPU is under heavy load?
- What file format are your cues? (WAV, AIF, MP3?)
