Whether this kind of advanced tracking would ever be *directly* part  
of QLab I somewhat doubt, but as a separate set of software tools  
that can control QLab, there are definitely some fun times ahead.

By the time we're talking about integrating some of these ideas we'll  
be well into QLab 2.0 or beyond, which will benefit from what we've  
learned about QLab's strengths and weaknesses in the meantime.  I  
think to really get proper dynamic control of the software will  
require addressing some limitations in my initial design, but that's  
what 2.0's are for.

Although I will say that if I can't keep QLab's original simplicity  
for basic playback intact, I will most likely view this kind of  
highly dynamic control as a separate (though similar) project.  I  
don't ever wish to "forget him what brung us", when it comes to  
QLab's original goals.
