i am!

it's got a few glitches, but they're consistent glitches. so i trust it.

- when a video runs out, all is well. but when i use a stop cue on a
video, there's a very quick full-screen flicker as the video releases.

- for whatever reason, qlab lists my external monitor as "VGA", which
is correct, but the internal monitor is listed in japanese
characters. i'm using the most recent 15" macbook pro model.

- playback of jpg's sometimes causes a hang.

- there's no "fade" cue for video, which isn't a glitch but sure will
be cool when it exists.

- running video and audio both off a powerbook g4 was no good.
freezes, hangs, etc. split the audio off onto another machine, and
now all is well. i wanted to link the two machines with MSC, to save
the operator some grief, but i never got around to it. hey chris!
want to write in some quick midi-over-ethernet code? that would rock
and save us wires.

but basically, the thing works. anything that ever went wrong did so
in the first hour, and then i never saw a new problem again. so i
feel good about it.

cheers
sam
