You know, I was just re-reading that link, and I think it may be too  
oriented towards long-time Mac geeks to be of much help to you.

The most helpful bits probably are around page 13-16 where it talks  
about the graphics and video improvements, and page 19 covering speed  
improvements.  Unfortunately it doesn't cover the work done on  
CoreAudio in much detail.
