Hi Rich,

It sounds like you have it about right.  (It will be easier to do a  
series of simple music cues when I have added an option for  
continuing at the end of a cue, but for now you're doing it the best  
way.)

The only piece you're missing is to fade out whichever preshow song  
is running to go into the first cue of the show.  This is easy  
because you can apply a fade to an entire group.  Just create a fade  
cue, assign the group of preshow cues as its target, and make sure  
the fade is "relative".  Then you can fade out the whole group, and  
it won't matter which song is currently playing.
