This is actually incorrect--QLab does not itself aggregate devices.   
It just allows more than one patch to be assigned to a single device.

Both ways to fade across multiple devices have been mentioned.  Here  
they are in summary:

1) Fire the same cue twice, assigned to the separate devices, and  
fade them in tandem.  This does not guarantee that the sounds are  
synced up.

2) With an Enhanced Audio License QLab will recognize aggregate audio  
devices that you set up in Audio MIDI Setup.  This allows you to  
compose several physical devices as one logical device, and pan  
across their outputs with a single cue.  This would guarantee sample  
sync.
