I wondered whether that's what it was. Presumably most people would
be running video cues to a separate display (I can't test it as you
don't get a VGA converter lead free with the MacBook and the iBook
one doesn't fit) and you don't want your desktop popping up between
cues. However I noticed that while the screen went black for the
first cue, when I came to a stop cue between video cues, the screen
flashed black and then went to my desktop but with no mouse pointer,
which only returned when I pressed escape. If there are any video
cues in a sequence, the screen(s) would need to be black (or a
selectable colour or image perhaps) whenever a cue is not being played.
