Ah, good, glad it worked.  (I'm taking the liberty of bringing this  
thread back on to the list just to let folks know it got resolved  
okay.)  I expect that some "off-by-one directory" error might have  
bit you before with the file paths.  Or that combined with the device  
patch.  I think there's no need for you to spend time on reproducing  
it at this point.

At any rate, it sounds like the main problem here is not that the  
system doesn't technically work, but that it is too easy to do it  
wrong.  That is, of course, what our earlier list discussion about an  
alternate workspace "bundling" scheme was all about:

I'll continue to stew on this and other options in an effort to  
reduce the chances of mistakes in future versions of QLab.

P.S.:  Hello from La Guardia airport, where my original flight has  
been cancelled and I'm hoping that tonight's last flight to Baltimore
