Depends on what you mean by active--for example if there is  
transparency that would lead an old cue to still need to be drawn,  
then this might be considered active (although it isn't actively  
playing a movie).

In your case I wouldn't have expected that problem, but it may well  
be that there is an optimization missing here, or not working the way  
I intended it to work.

I see in your workspace you added in fade-outs after the fade-ins, so  
try checking the "stop target when done" button and see if that helps  
anything as a first stab.
