If you need to sync the song up perfectly with the beat it´s   
difficult...
Maybe you should take a look on Ableton´s  "Live", it does exactly  
what you describe.... 8-)

You could still have Qlab as the "master", and remote control Live  
from Qlab...

But if it´s  more like "bringing in the Bassline/groove" at a  
specific cue, you could have have several tracks running along in a  
soundgroup, -and then fade up the different parts when you want...  
but i guess that this is not the thing you need...
