[QLab] Prototype MOTU workaround

Huh, no sound at all is unexpected.  I wonder if there may be some small
bug unrelated to this workaround that got in the way.

To the three people testing this cue, let's take our conversation off
list, and I can get a little bit more debug feedback from you and see if
we can wrestle the new cue into operation.  Then I can report the final
results to the list when we're done.

I'm actually still quite optimistic that this workaround is going to work,
but I probably made some dumb mistake in setup.
