[QLab] iTunes, DP & Q Lab

Hi Jerry,

You can't currently transfer music from iTunes directly (i.e. by drag  
and drop), although there's a ticket concerning this as a possible  
future feature.  (I was going to post a link to the ticket, but the  
figure53 site appears to be having issues right now....hmmm.  Anyway,  
I think it may even be ticket #1.)

If you want to use an iTunes file, first drag it to the desktop.   
Then you can create a new cue that points at that file.  (As long as  
it isn't a locked file purchased from the iTunes store.)

I'm not familiar with DP, so I can't comment on that.

In terms of moving files from one computer to another, there are many  
ways you can do this, but typically the easiest is to do as Philip  
described:  go to your system preferences, turn on personal file  
sharing, and putting your sound files into the folder that is being  
shared.  Then connect the two Macs with ethernet and copy the files  
over.
