[QLab] iTunes, DP & Q Lab

This is my first post to this group, so I hope I'm not covering old  
ground.  I checked the archives, and didn't see anything very similar.

It's also my first show with Q Lab (with any computer based playback  
system for that matter), so I'm struggling a bit here.

I have iTunes and Q Lab on my iBook G4, but I do all my designing on  
Digital Performer on my G4 tower.  The two are linked via ethernet.   
Obviously, I intend to take the iBook out on shows.

So, I've downloaded a couple of things on iTunes.
First off, can I transfer these files directly to Q Lab?
Secondly, can I transfer them into DP, and how would I do that from  
one computer to the other.

Please forgive what I'm sure are very elementary questions.
