[QLab] Minor stuff I would really like to have in Q lab

If you have a lighting designer, they will throw a fit if you suggest
controlling their board. Though I have found this is the easiest option with
Qlab right now. If you are the lighting designer as well, I think it will be
fine. Qlab's MSC cue is very comprehensive.

It is generally assumed with other sound effects programs that you have a
separate Q list that is listening for Qs from the light board, and firing
them without interrupting your main Q list. Qlab will listen for MSC, but
you cannot be specific about Q numbers. It will just hear "Go" from the
light board, not "GO Cue 125." Which is actually what the ETC lightboard is
spitting out. At least this is my understanding.

But I would like to have multiple MIDI show control devices (lightboards,
Mixers, other sound effects programs, etc...) on different Midi channels
telling Qlab to fire different things on different Q lists.

I have the "paid version" of Qlab. I will have to do a little more research
on the Auto locate function...

I'm pretty sure that the first and last features you request are
available as part of the paid versions of Qlab. http://figure53.com/
buy/ I'm getting ready to have Qlab control and ETC lightboard too...
Which way is the best way do you think? Have the lightboard control
the computer or vice versa, or does it not really make any difference?
