you know, i was just coaching someone on qlab and they asked the same
question. i think you're right... since we can adjust the matrix
using fades, there's no real need to have a master matrix. i mean,
most of the time, there's not even a need for the master levels, but
i'm glad they're there. but i just cannot envision a situation where
i would need to make an after-the-fact, overall level adjustment to a
single matrix point.
axe it! cleaner interface! in FACT... ooh, this is good... this would
actually help to eliminate the entire "initial fade levels vs master
levels" problem... if the master matrix is gone, it might be possible
to eliminate the master levels tab altogether, and combine the two.

interested in what you're thinking of here... it's a very clean
interface as is...

i don't know... it's pretty lean. i find myself using most of qlabs
parts much of the time.

ps. the latest version of sound studio (3.0, i think) supports
multichannel aiff and wav. word up.
