Hi All,

Yeah, Modular isn't a bad way to go. I have seen this approach with
other applications and it seems to work out well. This is especially
useful for measurement/test applications, and might work out well for
QLab. A definite thought. Personally, I'd be buying it all - but
that's because I'm a control freak....

oh wait, I work in audio, that last sentence goes without saying.... :)

About some of the comments regarding video.... I know Christopher has
the idea of video in the back of his head, but I seriously doubt he
is looking into supporting something as advanced as WatchOut. That
program is very sophisticated and is worth all the money it (and the
hardware) costs if you are actually using it for it's feature set.
Though maybe QLab could get to something similar at some point in the
distant future, the idea of supporting video will probably be limited
to standard playback options for awhile (Play, Pause, Load, Cue,
etc.... Similar to how sound files are played back right now, but
without an output matrix). Even that is a major feature that could
likely not make it to V1.0.

However, I love to see some real discussion on this list again! It's
been awhile since this type of activity has been present here.
Everyone starts talking again when their pocket books are involved!!!
Cool!

Mark H
