I plan to eventually support Audio Units.  That will be a bit down  
the road, though.

I may throw in a few Apple audio units, such as the equalizer or  
pitch bend unit, early on, before I get around to offering full  
generic "drop in" support for any Audio Unit.  (The mixer controls  
currently available, for example, are actually just a front end to a  
Matrix Mixer Audio Unit.)
